Anyone use the Thrahser rev-limiter chip (2200RPM) with a stock car and convertor?

I tried it quite a few years ago. The stutter start works. I then stopped racing and only drove the car on the street, so I switched to a different chip (my own).

Why do you ask?

just wondering whether it was very practical, and if it acutally holds the car, and allows the stock convertor to go to 2200
