That cheap chip has a ton more engineering in it then any aftermarket.

It'll take more then just a chip, ie using a Translator Plus, or Max-Effort, but they've run in the 9s and 10s. When you get into the 7s and 8s I guess you can profit from some aspects of the aftermarkets. But, even that maybe changing.

One of the problems anymore is everyone wants instant gratification, and things to be plug and play/effort free. While you can get the plug and play with spending money, the actual tuning to go as fast as possible on any system takes work.
