Would I gain anything from having a custom chip burned for my application.....or isn't their any difference between what they do and what is already on my thumbwheel?

I don't switch gas like I thought I would when I originally bought the chip (continous 100 octane)...but I might consider c-16.

Pros and cons??? Other than I'd have to have a seperate chip for the 116 :)

Thanks,

Mark

Mark, I think you failed to mention. If your thumbwheel was set up for the options done on the motor. At bottom of page.

If it wasn't then it isn't working with your motor.

I would, get on the phone and have one made for your motor.

If the chip is for that particular car. Then you should be OK.

But you left so much info out. There's no way to answer your question......HTH'ed

Don't think anyone can help unless you fill in the particulars.

Sorry....guess that would help

The chip was ordered and made for
the 42.5# injectors I still use
stock turbo.....now a pt52
stock cam/lifters....see below
stock ic....which will soon be a fm
stock intake/tb....which will soon be 70mm and pte plenum
stock maf...now an lt1 3"

....everything has (or will be) changed except the injectors and exhaust......so now what do you think?

Thanks,

Mark

Matt I would first make my changes. Then get the thumbwheel,

Brought up to specs to the changes.

Then you will have everything working together.

Only other thing I see. Is maybe could be wrong, but might need bigger injctors, for the 52 Turbo. Sorry took so ling to get back.

HTH'ed.
