Chips...and boost..and uhhh yea

Ok well if you have a chip that gives you around 15psi, can you still adjust the wastegate and get 18psi???
What's the best chip you reccomend if I wanna run a decent amount of boost on the street?
I always fill my car with Sunoco 94..so with 94 octane, what's the most boost you can safely run on the street with Sunoco 94? And also what chip to you reccomend to do it with? Because I planning on getting a new chip once I rid of these trans problems.

Pitbull's are old tech...Many better chips out there for way less than that...

Yes, you can adjust the wastegate for more boost than what the chip commands with the stock wastegate setting...

Run a lower timing chip than what the Pitbull is...Pitbull's are too high timing for today's crappy gas...Get with Jim Testa(TurboJim here on TB.com)...He is in NJ somewhere and should be able to get you a custom chip set up for just your combination for WAYYYY less than $120...Go to the chip section here on TB.com and post a thread asking for him...He will get you what you need...

Ramchargers also has pretty good chips, and people like the thrasher. A lot of people like reds also, but they were always way too rich for me.

You probably won't be able to run more than 16-17 lbs of boost on 94 octane.

I ran 17 psi on a 22* JL chip.

with the crappy gas we have here in california, i was able to run 17psi with a 22* timing chip from Joe Lubrant, to me, he is one of the best, give him a call.
