I'm doing a complete upgrade on my cooling system. I am doing the F-body radiator, dual 11" spal fans, and external trans cooler. My question is about the quality of different companies and getting what you pay for. I have done the math and to do the B&M Supercooler 70266 with all the hose and fittings it looks like over $150! I happened to be browsing the transmission coolers on summit racing and came across this Flex-a-lite 3820-6 - Flex-a-lite TransLife Transmission Coolers - Overview - SummitRacing.com which comes with all but the 1/4" npsm to -6an hose barb and will save me around $80! Flex a lites website says this cooler will cool a towing vehicle with gvw of 20,000 moderate towing.
Has anyone had any bad experiences with flexalite coolers? I plan on putting this on the front of my ac condensor.
thanks for any input!

+1 with the above, don't run the tube and fin style like in your link. i also see you have a N/L converter. you will really need to watch the temps and i think your best option is to save up for the B&M 70297. Ya its alot of money but if you are only running a external cooler and not running the fluid through the radiator you will really want something that will cool well with a N/L converter.

first off thanks for all the responses! Based on all the pms and responses I have decided to go with the Hayden 1679 cooler and am going to run it inline with my new radiator for maximum trans cooling. And since my fans didn't ship yet I'm going to upsize to the dual 12" spal fans to move extra air just to be safe! Once I get it all together and get some hotter weather ill post some temps for comparison! Thanks again for all the responses!
