There is conflicting data in the Buick service manual for the crank sensor.
1. Section 8A-21-0 lists the sensor as A-12V, B-SIGNAL, C-REF
2. Section 6E3-A3-44 lists the sensor as A-10V, B-REF, C-SIGNAL
FAST support stated option 2 was correct however they were not able to tell me which terminal on the SEFI8LO the crank signal was to connect to.
Right now it is wired the same as the Casper harness that was removed however we are no getting a RPM reading on the C-COM dashboard.
Please confirm the crank and cam signal wiring when directly hooked up to the SEFI8LO by terminal ID and if there is any pull-up/down resistors required. Car has a MSD distributor, no factory coil pack/ignition module. Wiring is done straight from the ecu to the crank sensor.
