clean wheels

hello people; I have those Kirban 16/8 wheels. I've had them a few years. The problem is were the stick on weights have been is all crappy and I can't get it nice. I want to get them as best as I can before I purchase my new tires. Any ideas?

Brake cleaner that's what we use at the shop, just don't get it on the paint
