I'm putting aluminum supports on my GN but I want to clean them up first. They have some oxidation in some spots. What's a good process or concoction for cleaning/killing oxidation and keeping them clean? Baking soda and water still the usual method for cleaning?

Rick had some that I Media blasted they look like new now, I then used a epoxy coating to seal it.

Metal conditioner for alum.

They sell alum conditionse(acid) use rubber gloves and a red scotch pad, scrub the heck out of it,then wash off well with water. I used dp90(black epoxy primer) i wanted the origional semi-gloss black look. Now, when someone looks under the car, they would swear that the reinforcements are origional "heavy" steel...
