After 1,000 1/4 mile runs and almost 17 years, my crankshaft decided to head south for the winter! It was a major breakage with 3 main caps breaking and the crank breaking after 1 & 2, breaking the front of the block.
I'm having a new motor built and all is going great but I have a question: what is the best way to flush and clean the oil cooler in the radiator? The car stopped instantly after the crank broke so I don't think much oil could have made it to the oil cooler but I just want to be 100% sure everything is cleaned the best way possible. Thanks, Paul
