How do you go about hiding the wiring in the engine compartment for a clean look? Does someone sell a longer length engine harness? Anyone done this? how did you do it?

flexable black wire wrap. then wire tie everything together and out of the way, it does wonders.

if your thinking something a little more slick then there isn't really any good way to do it other than using sheat metal to make smooth inner fenderwells, then just keep everything under them. but thats a lot of work to do, and even more to make it look good.

and remember the odds of having a problem are directly porpotional to the dificulty of fixing that problem.

Put a carb on there  I used to hate my friend who had a carbed 5.0, we could take off the heads and intake and like an hour but on my car it would take about 3 times as long because of all those damn wires ;)

I dunno about hiding the wiring, but I just re-wrapped/taped everything to make it look neater. Definitely an improvement over what it did look like...the factory tape/wrap was looking like crap. Bad thing about hidden wiring.....when you have a problem, it's a PITA to get to/trace. I would rather have a nice, neat harness out in the open, unless it's a show car that doesn't see much driving time. JMO though. :D

refreshing this thread.

I want to clean up my wires and looking for way to hide it.

I bought Caspers bulkhead connectors but I head you can run the wires thru and under the intake manifold??

You mean like this:biggrin:

Black wire looms and some liquid electrical tape did it for me. Cleaned it up under hood a lot.
