Careful.... Headlight covers can get you tickets in this state (not sure about yours or others).

Hey Frank.........I put an amber bulb on the turnsignal side of the lense, the other clear. It's OK, but I think I'm going with all clear.

Clearheadlite covers are illegal?

Yea, they are here in MI. I don't mess with them if they're clear but smoked ones will beg my attention....sorry.

theres this rotting out regal thats always parked at the college around here- its a maintenence man i think- hes an older guy- i wonder if i put my amber ones on his car and put the clear ones on mine- if he would ever notice :D

im gonna ask him monday- ive taken a look at them and they look great- its got a peeling vinal top, the chrome left on the bumper is like the size of a dime- quarter pannels are barely there- but the parking lights look brand new. even if i give him 20$ plus an extra set of ambers i have ill do it. im gonna go to a couple junk yards this weekend i think i saw a couple older regals there the last time i went. if i get a couple extra pairs ill let you guys know

I gotta laugh, we the Buick community are bad. I can see it now, every junk yard in the country all there old Buick's will be picked cleaned like chicken bones:D :D

Then the parts for sale area will be on fire:cool:

I want a set:( :p

Here's a better view of my "homemade" clears.

RRT,
Where did you get the plastic to put on those? They look just as good as the stockers.

Damn!....those "home made" ones look excellent!!

For those concerned about still seeing an amber bulb behind clear lenses you can get amber LED's that are clear until you turn them on at www.superbrightleds.com.

A-ha! The million dollar question.............:D

Most late 80s, early 90s Eldo and Seville side marker lenses. They are protected by a clear plastic lense over the lense I use for the conversion. Because the lenses were always sealed against the elements, they're all in very good shape. These lenses even have a 90* edge, about 3/16", around them. They're not just flat. Takes both sides of the caddy lense to make one side of the Regal. You have to cut to fit. These caddies have been plentiful for years in my local yards.

What do you use to cut them?
