What clearnce do you guys prefer to run on your bearings? This is a street motor with a wet sump system. Plan to use FullThrottles' 3.8 stroker kit in a 3.8 stage 2 block off center.

Anybody know what they usually run on the rod and main bearings? Just go by stock specs as shown here?:
Factory Engine Specification

I plan to use 10W30 all the time if that matters. Any ideas guys? Thanks for the help! -----Jeremy

Jeremy,

Shoot for .002" bearing clearance on the mains and rods. This should work fine for a street / strip motor. I'd run a bit thicker oil myself but you can play with the oil viscosity to give you the oil pressure you want.
