Has anyone "clocked" a PT-51 turbo so that the outlet lines up properly with the intercooler? If so, how did you do this. I did a search on this subject, but couldn't find a post specifically on the PT-51. Thanks in advance.

Keith,

I don't think a PT-51 is different from any other turbo as for as clocking goes. To clock your turbo just loosen the bolts on the back side housing,(about 6-8 bolts) usually on most turbos there are two brackets that are along the housing, once you loosen them all (dont take all the way out) the turbo will spin and you can get it to line up with your intercooler.

I hope I explained it right, much easier to show you in person but it is very easy to do.

Best of luck.

I clocked my '52 down at a 45° angle, but it required modifying the stock wastegate actuator so it would clear. E-mail for pix if interested...

Thanks for the info guys.:) I need to rotate the housing about 10-15 degrees to get it to line up properly. I'll try it out tomorrow.
