If the front journal has a groove 360*, does it really make any difference where the holes in the cam bearing fall?

I believe I read that the TA Performance bearings are grooved in the back side and as a result they may be installed in any position in the journal.

Sounds like the front journal shares the same benefit???

Your Thoughts Please.

TIA

really wouldnt hurt it being clocked

It does stop you from restricting the front journals oil to gain more pressure

of course I typically put them in with the holes lined up with the oil galleys anyway

this info is for 109 blocks only as earlier blocks are not 360 degree grooved behind the bearing
