Code 42 on start up reset ecu now fine??? Ideas???

As title states, started up and instantly noticed a different idle and within seconds check eng. Light came on and noticed code 42 on scanmaster, let it run for a few then shut it down and restarted, still with the code. Disconnected ecm wire for a few and started again, now with no code, took it for a 10min ride and all seems fine?? First time for any kind of code or malfunction, could this have just been a gremlin or simple glitch or should I check some other stuff??? Thanks Mike

Unplug the maf blow out the connection plug it back it
Then start it and wiggle the wires may just be dirty

Lt1 maf and translator, after I unplugged the Orange ecm wire all seemed fine...Mike
