code 45 to code 33

Well, started the car the other day and the check engine light came on right away! Well, I shut it off and now I have a code 33, does this mean my maf is completly done now? I have the new impala ss maf and translator but don't have any of the piping to hook it up. What would be the easiest way to hook this up, and what kind of filter should I get? Thanks!
