84 hotair oil pan no baffle?

So did my intake gasket because I had to the rubber front and rear seals were leaking and got what I thought was alittle antifreeze in the oil pan and drained the oil but what I thought was alittle antifreeze looked like more then what expected so decided to drop the pan and do some cleaning and the rear main while I was there then found out my oil pan had no baffle and the 87 pan is different. My question is should I fun it like that or get some one to weld one or get a pan with one .. thanks in advance
