Wow, what an awesome build!! I'm doing a hybrid this summer and just finishing up the engine now. I went through the entire thread but didn't see anything as to how you went about the harness and how you integraded it to the dash. Mine is going in an '86 Pontiac Bonneville and I have the entire engine harness and factory TR computer from my '87 Turbo T. Is this difficult to do? can I just run a hotwire kit for the fuel pump or do I need the factory fuel pump harness? Any tips or tricks to get the car running would be much appreciated. Wiring is my weak link.

I can help you out with that.
The C100 connector and the C437 connectors are the ones that will interface with your GN engine harness.
The C100 is very similar on all 80’s GMs. The idiot lights are all there and all the same. And the pink HEI ignition wire will be repurposed to power all the pink wires in your GN harness through a small fuse block you will mount under the hood. Yes your Hotwire kit will run your fuel pump and you’ll need to run a trigger wire along with it to operate your Hotwire relay at the back of the car.
C437 is behind the glove box. Also very similar on all 80’s GMs. You’ll need to eliminate the check engine lamp module that carbureted cars had. It’s behind the glove box too. CEL wire goes straight to the ECU on a GN, no lamp module needed.

I have some more stuff / pics / notes I’ll post for you later

Some notes from when we adapted the C100 connector from the Malibu to the GN engine harness. The GN C100 was cut off and the Malibu C100 spliced back on.

Under the hood……. This fuse block supports all of the EFI and electronic ignition and electric fans that the Malibu never knew anything about.
