coilpack conversion

Does anyone have an estimate on how much it cost's to convert to the 86/87 coilpack? Also what part's are needed for swap? Thank's in advance. Hal

Well, it depends on how you do the swap. You can use the conversion method on gnttype.org which really just requires the updated coild pack. They are 89 bucks at caspers electronics. If you dont feel like messing with wires and stuff, you can take an easier but more expensive route and buy adapters. You get the CCCI adapter which is around 60 bucks, than the coil base adapter plate which is around 35, the 86-76 ignition module, which happens to be very expensive, 229 bucks..and finally the 86-87 coil pack which is around 89 bucks. All of the parts you need can be found at caspers electronics.
