Coilpack/module rebuild???

My GNX ign. module went out. I put a spare one i had laying around on and all is well.

My question is can the factory ign. module be rebuilt and by who?
It appears the original was dated and had a serial #---so i would like to put that one back on the car.

After going back and looking at it closer, the date and # are on the coilpack, so obviously i could just replace the ign. module with a new GM.
Does anyone have a good source for new GM ign. modules(price-wise), and still the original question: Is anyone rebuilding the original?

I went to my local Chev. dealer to order mine. Got it in a couple days. Part no. 24503624. The old part no. has change and it's was not black it was bare aluminum.
