Same issues with mine.
Except following the wiring "instructions",
resulted in the fans blowing air backwards towards the FRONT of the car! Switching the wires made the air flow correctly towards the engine, but the blades were now operating inefficiently off the backside of the blades, resulting in only a 7 mph air speed. The hubs on the fans were too short to allow them to be reversed, so I made adaptors on my lathe to make them fit.
They had so many "Child proof finger guard fins that the flow was still only around 12 mph. I cut about 2/3rds of them out with a die grinder assuming that no kids would be running alongside my car while driving, I don't drive with the hood up, and I don't have any kids anyway......
Airflow is up to 21 or 22 MPH now.
In latest news, sitting in my garage full of the correct antifreeze with less than 53 miles driven, I was treated to a 6 foot puddle of 50/50 under the car.....
I haven't removed it yet, as my anger level hasn't lowered enough to approach that POS with hard objects (tools).
