Thanks for reminding me, couple days ago in the village saw some guy with a 68 Chevelle, sound like it had an OK small block but it was a freaking 4 door. Did that look dumb!

Yes some times, she knows I’m a open book. No reason to hide anything. The good lord knows all, besides he has your ass too. Just saying. I was told I had to wait 90 days from surgery before I could have a drink of whiskey. Well it’s been 89 days and 23 hours and I’ve had one or 8 or 10 don’t remember. So just telling some truth

Oh, I agree about the four doors. After all everybody knows muscle cars only had two doors. But that's not really the point though and besides I'm sure he was going to make a "Supernatural" tribute car. Problem is that no matter if it is a proper 2 door muscle car or a four door poser, it's still expensive as hades to restore one. The difference is that after you've spent that much money on restoring them both, one might be worth about what you have in it, the other one is still only good for a parts car.

I saw a 74 Nova 4 door with a dressed up small block the guy wanted like 8 grand for it. Saw a 57 Chevy 4 door the guy wanted 19 grand for. Today's performance "GT" cars come with 4 doors (Charger, Chevy SS, G8,) so all of the people that don't know better think old 4 door cars can be cool performance cars too and think they can bring muscle car prices. The same with anything made in the 70's. How many 79 Camaro's were built and look at what people are wanting for them now.

My gosh, the prices on craigslist for some of this crap is outrageous. Some smuck had a 76 nova 4 door and wanted almost $20k. These PsOS sit on the site for months on end and they're all soon to be collector cars, lmao. They don't sell so after a few months they put them back up at an even higher price. Heck, if it didn't sell at $40k I wasn't asking enough and now its $45k.
Tribute cars are even more ridiculous and asking price is as much as a real one or more.
Yeah, camaros, the 75-81 trans ams even with the olds engine are gold evidently and what about monte carlo ss, well over a hundred thousand made and most want as much if not more than a mint GN. Needless to say none of them are selling.

Back in 72 my cousin/step brother(!)had a 62 biscayne 2 door with 230CI and powerglide. Dark blue with white top, bench seat, a real beauty and a chick magnet to boot! Floor that baby on Monday and by Thursday you hit 60mph. Can still here that thing winding up to redline if it had one or could even reach it and finally hit second and the bottom would fallout and start building power again. Although 2 bucks of gas drove ya around for the week. Ah, those were simpler days.
