I was only able to make one pass that day my 1st pass I left in2nd gear so I abort that run the next pass I did this one 9 .15. With a horrible 60foot time would have been in the 8s with a better 60 .so Winter project fully ported heads Lighten up the front end And suspension modifications My car is still a fat ass will actually may be im the fat ass 3640with me in it. Next year it should weigh about 3480 with me in it. I just can't leave shit alone.

Nat86 you had the mph for 8's i am surprised you didn't finish the year and get your 8 sec pass before pulling the motor and porting the heads. Winter is still a couple months away.

Honestly I've been so busy working on other people's cars I really haven't had the time to race this year .Besides I really enjoy working on my car Escape from reality lol

That's a soft 60ft a lot of mph.tons of potential there

The car is going to drop another 140 pounds and trz upper and lower control arms, rack and pinion steering, different brakes up front, Mansco shocks, and fiberglass Deck lid. Definitely going to work on my 60foot times

Congrats my friend, that is flying for sure. Did you hurt it why you are tearing it down and porting the heads? It looks like it would easily give you what you want without going through all that effort of doing that. I have been on that other side of the coin many times too. Going fast isn't as easily as some would like to think. I have came home with my tail between my legs more often than I care to admit. But it's something I love doing that has me playing it again despite what happened.

Engine was doing awesome decided to tighten my ptc converter up so i decided to pull the engine instead of the trans because i could kill 2 birds with one stone. Makes it a lot easier to change over to rack and pinion steering to [emoji6] i really enjoy working on my car it's relaxing for me plus i can't leave shit alone.
