Coming to Dallas

I will be coming down this Monday from Chicago for work for a week or two. Whats should I avoid and what should I not?

Avoid South Dallas. The rest is fair game and fun.

Saturday night, if it's nice out - Kellers Hamburgers at Northwest highway and Abrams (close to downtown) has a car show with CHEAP beer and great food.

And there is almost a car meet every night of the week in the DFW area somewhere if the weather is good. I'm sure there are many websites but one good one for car meets is WELCOME TO RICEKILLER.COM - "Uniting Domestics and Imports Against Rice!". I"ll be working at the new Wyle theatre. Does anybody know what part of town it's in.

Never heard of the Wyle theatre?? Do you mean Wylie? There is Wylie, TX a suburb just northeast of Dallas. Got a address?

You'll be coming in right in the bad weather:frown: Monday & Tuesday are suppose to be in the 30's and wet. The rest of the week in the 60's.

Yep that is in DT Dallas right off of Ross ave. You close to the Westend area, lot's of resturants, and Victory park at the AAC were the Mavs and Stars play.

There is a real good Hooters there in the westend :biggrin:

I made it down and back already, finished up the work in about half the time they had expected. I made it to "Southern Junction" and "Twin Peaks". I will be back in the near future.
