this is the second set I change and they are noisy as hell, so we decided to check the preload, upon close inspection we came up with the conclusion that they are not holding pressure as if the spring is weak and plunger is not holding oil inside the lifters (leaking down) even right after doing zero lash and going 3/4 turn setting the nut down, we can still move the rocker up and down about 80 thousands, as we set the load from zero lash there is no resistance whatsoever on the allen wrench as we turn it in it can be done with just 1 finger, we have to go at least 3 full turns before feeling any resistance on it and stopping the rocker from moving up and down, we have concluded that the plunger is not holding pressure and spring is weak resulting in clatter on the rockets as they move up and down on the valve,, this is BS, some of the lifters hold preload and they seem to be just fine because you can't move them after adjusting them, but at least 5 out of the 12 are in bad shape, anybody having same problems with this lifters as i have, im pissed right now..
I know comp cams is having their lifters made by a different company now, so it could be they are using cheaper materials to produce them..
