Dose anyone have any info on Comp turbos? Meaning is anyone running one or know of someone using one? Are they better than a Precision or Turbonetics turbo?

I like them. Running one on my car.

Highly recommend them.

What size are you running. Can u give more details about spool up. What size converter are you running with one

This one is a .81 ar exhaust side. 3.5 inch inlet. I'm using an art carr 3600 stall converter. Spool up is very good. This csr was set up to run 10s sll day and it will. I could run a lower stall converter foru a street csr snd it would not hurt spool up.

Very happy with this turbo.

I cant type worth a damn at 145 am. You can run a 3200 stall 10.5 PTC converter with this all day long on a street car. I am running 21 psi on the street with an alky set up and the car is plenty quick. If I wanted to run low 10s I can no sweat.

I have a comp turbo. It is a 76/75 billet compressor in a pro-mod housing (looks just like the precision GT4276).
Mine is ball-bearing and water cooled. I went 146.6 on 26.6psi last year and plan to run into the 8s this year. I was very skeptical about this turbo, for they were ITS (I think) before going to Comp. ITS turbos had a good reputation with the imports, but all that changed and they went through some rough spots and changed over to Comp. The precision turbo of this type is $3000. I got this turbo for $1800 slightly used so I went for it taking a risk. Well I've got to say it has held up to street driving and prob 75 track passes over the last three years. I am not saying the Comp is better than anyone, only that it has done its job. Plus I do think this turbo has enough air to run 15x at prob 30psi.

I'm liking what I'm hearing. I'm thanking about a Comp CT 43-6767bb. With the 3" outlet, 4" inlet, anti-surge compressor housing, 67 exhaust and 67 intake wheels.

Talk to Justin about sizing the turbo he knows what he's doing.

I would seriously consider the 66 like mine. You will be quite happy with it.
