compatible gas tank?

I purchased a super clean regal limited.I have just about all the parts to make a clean clone.Starting with a fresh 85 hot air 3.8 SFI.My question is will the stock regal gas tank and pickup work with SFI turbo without cavitation?Can i just drop in a walbro and (call it a day)?

The stock Regal gas tank will not work. The 84-87 TTYPE(GN is a body option) all have baffled gas tanks. This stops the gas from sloshing around and assuring there is fuel to the pump under boost. Suck it up and pay the $~170 and get the right gas tank. Good luck- Brad
