Computer gurus: Why can't I watch WMV files?

It says "Specified path...mumble mumble mumble...denied." What's up with that?

Well, the "mumble-mumble" part may help in a diagnosis..

I would reinstall the latest Windows Media Player - http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download/default.asp

Try the newest version of Media player first and make sure it is set to play the WMV files. I had winamp take control of those once and after I uninstalled winamp the files didn't know what to do and gave me goofy errors like that.
