Computer hook up question!!!!

i have an IBM Thinkpad like the other thread that i saw . How would i be able to hook it up to my grand national. What kind of read-outs would i want? how do i hook it up ? wahts the easiest way? thanks guys

As stated above, you need to buy a program such as Direct Scan or Turbo Link.

You will need an interface cable for the ALDL port and some software. Check these sites www.turbo-link.com and www.chuengineering.com

Turbo-link hooks directly to the ALDL connection which is bolted to the bottom of the section in the dash that houses the radio.

Direct Scan hooks directly to you computer which is located behind the passenger side kick panel. Direct Scan will require the ECM to modified.
