hello ladies and gents: To you computer genius. This is new to my home puter
but when I Google a subject it goes to the area of subject but when I open it it shows a variety of topics. Not like before where it just went to the subject. Any ideas?

Are you talking about a situation where you search for something in Google and when you click on the link it takes you somewhere totally different and unrelated, like a portal site? If that's the case, it is entirely possible you have a rootkit or adware that has installed itself and hijacked IE. I'd recommend scanning your computer with Malwarebytes ---> Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware, anti-virus and spyware removal download

hello; I downloaded that free malware site but it wasn't easy. Every time I would try it would take me to another area. It's in and I ran it a few times. Wish me luck.
