Something's up with it's internal power supply. It snaps and crackles as it wakes up so I set it to Never Off for now. Wouldn't even come on last night; had to mess with it this morning to make it come on; it's 6 years old. I'll be going to get another one today. It would be nice to get a 17" flat panel but locally they are almost double what they are going for on eBay ($500 local vs. $250-$300 eBay). Anyone know of a good sale? I highly doubt these things are worth fixing.

Personally I would stick with a flat screened CRT.

CRT's are clearer and sharper than an LCD in my opinion.

I play alot of games however, and LCD's just don't refresh fast enough for me.

You'll pay half as much for a CRT.

I just went and bought a Samsung 997df 19" flat CRT. It's lighter than the Micron OEM one and it was 17". Now I just have to get the color adjusted. So far so good but the orientation controls are a bitch.
