what computers are interchangable with a 83 t types computer. im missing mine and cant find another 83 t type to get one off of

You need part number 1226025. It was only used on the 83 with turbo motor. I have one but I am not sure if I have a chip for it. Let me do some checking and make sure of what I have and I will post back by Monday for sure. Thanks Eric Fisher. turbofish38@hotmail.com

Okay, I have a ECM for a 83 with carb and turbo. I do not have the chip for a Regal. I do have a chip for a Riviera. I do not know the differences in these chips but it should work for you. Usually they are minor things like total timing advance and torque convertor lock-up. The ECM was working when I pulled it from the car about 6 months ago.
