Conan or Letterman?

how did he go about it?
i hear a lot of stuff on his show that i disagree with- but usually it's funny, anyways. it is a comedy show, with a staff of writers that probably aren't car guys, so they are going to go after cars and the people that own and love them from time to time.

These guys just read jokes others write for them and none of these guys are probably actually funny or witty on their own. When the writers went on strike they had to show reruns because these talking heads could not be counted on to be funny with their own material.

Conan was the only one that was worth a crap during the writer's strike. he was just as funny as he always is, probably due to his backgroud as a writer on the Simpsons and SNL before he took over Late Night when Letteman left to go to CBS.
i can't even remember if Leno was on the air during that time. he is a cool guy and does some good stand up stuff, but he's just not as naturally funny as Conan.
