Well guys, here lies the problem! I have a metal carport that houses a couple of cars that I drive pretty often. Of course I still like to keep them clean. Every morning in the fall and winter as the sun comes up and warms the outside of the carport, the inside sweats and drips down on my cars leaving bad water spots.

Has anyone had this problem or know of a way way to stop it, it is driving me ape sh*t!

If its enclosed it needs a lot of vents to try to balance the indoor/outdoor air temps. If its open i have no ideas. Mike:rolleyes:

The only thing you can do is insulate the celing. Sounds silly in a carport but thats only way to keep it from condensing.

The metal is cooler than the dewpoint. As the metal cools from a the sun setting, moisture condenses on it. The underside will have have enough to form drops of water and fall on the cars. The metal roof on our patio does the same thing.
