Drag racing is definitely a colorless sport. It's all about skill, persistence, knowledge, and just a little luck. No affirmative action, just men being men.

The most noble thing one can do in sports is be magnamious in victory and defeat. Antron was, in victory!

Antron is the first person to win a Pro stock Bike and TF Race, which a pretty big accomplishment.

Whether or not he was the first black person to do "X", who cares?

When Linberg (a German-American) Flew solo across the atlantic in 1927, did we celebrate when the first Irish-American or Italian-American did it, too?

No, because it patronizing.

The guy is a natural. Not much of a learning curve needed. Only his fourth TF event and has been cutting lights with the best of them. He's focused, and should have even more confidence after today. I don't think that this was a fluke. I'm thinking that the Sarge may have his hands full with his old team (US ARMY) mate.

Congratulations are in order for those that have it coming, regardless of race, creed, or religiln. Congratulations, Antron.

I'll try to tread lightly;
I'll congrat him all day for winning in a very competitive class, never for being black and winning. If I really treat blacks as equals, it'll never even enter my mind, so I'll give the courtesy of ignoring his race, win or lose.
