considering a 85 Buick Regal

I am looking at a 85 buick regal N/A 3.8 as a daily driver, the car has 176,xxx on it with a new th350 tranny. thats high miles to me can anyone tell me how good these 3.8's are and if I should stay away from this car or not? Thanx

The 3.8 is one of the best engines GM has done, IMO.
I have 3 cars with the 3.8 and one with 176,000 miles that I would drive anywhere.

I agree with the above statement. The stock trannies were notorious for being troublesome, but besides that it's all good.
