 Just recieved Master Rebuild Kit #24RRK/C and rebuild book from CK Performance. I want to install a new converter, but do not know what to purchase? I want a converter that works good on the street & will run down the strip occasionally. Want to leave a little room to upgrade to a slightly larger turbo & intercooler.Any advise will be greatly appreciated.
Also, where can I purchase a trans cooler & a flex plate. The bolts from flex plate to converter came loose and the holes are now worn.
Thanks: Mike

Try this thread..... 10 pages worth of what converter rocks.... and what converter doesn't.....

Cliff Notes: PTC non lockups... and Neal Chance gets mass praise... others are mentioned to be good... but not as much as these two. There are other decent converters if these are too high... but you potentially sacrifice efficiency for a price reduction.
