Finally getting all the little issues with my car worked out and this is the last thing that is keeping me from driving it on a regular basis.

I originally thought it would not lock because my 4th gear pressure switch was not working. I replaced that and it still would not lock, so I figured it was the selenoid. Yesterday I dropped the pan once again and replaced the selenoid and it still does not lock. The brake pedal switch is adjusted so it's pushed all the way in when the brake pedal is up. The fuse is good. looking at my DS I can see that the computer is commanding it to lock. I tried the paper clip trick tonight and nada, still would not lock. What else can it be?

Do you have +12v on pin "F" of the ALDL connector with the key on brake pedal released?

The fuse is good I checked that already.

I have a couple questions about the brake switch. First off how would I go about checking it the switch is good? Also Which plug of the two on the switch is for the converter? Can the switch still work right for the brake lights and not the converter? The reason I ask is becasue its adjusted right and my brake lights work right.

Thanks for the help man!

The brake switch has 2 sets of contacts in it. One normally open the other normally closed. It is possible for the brake lights to work and not the TCC. Power comes in on "B" (PNK/BLK wire) and out to the solenoid on "A" (purple wire). Make sure the switch is adjusted properly (push it up against the pedal when the pedal is released) and make sure you have power to it. The switch could be bad. You should have +12v on the purple wire until you push on the brake pedal.

Alright, the two wire connector(the plug end is blue) has what looks to be a gray and black(maybe dark gray) running to it, neither are getting 12V. The switch for the cruise (the one with a big ass vacuum line running to it has two pink w/black stripe wires and a purple wire going to it, what's up with that

It sounds like your connectors are reversed between the cruise switch and the brake switch. The connector going to the cruise switch should have a dark brown wire and a grey wire.

 that's nuts, how the hell does that happen:confused: at least it looks like we may have discovered the problem lol. I'll try switching them around tomorrow and let you know what happens, thanks again.

Ok messing around with it right now but I need to make sure that I get the wires right.

The plug going to the cruise switch has the pink/black and purple wires going to it but there are two pink/black wires running to a single terminal end not just one wire. Then the purple to the other side. So when I switch them around is the TC switch suppose to have two pink/black wires running to "B" or just one? Also what wires are suppose to run to the cruise switch and which color to which end?

This whole thing is really wierd because the two plugs have different terminal ends so I dont know how they would have got mixed up like that.

There are suppose to be 2 PNK/BLK wires going to "B" on the brake switch. It powers the TCC plus the waste gate solenoid, canister purge solenoid, A/C cuyout relay, and EGR valve vacuum regulator. The purple wire goes to pin "A" which goes out to the TCC solenoid. On the cruise control switch the gray wire goes to "B" and the brown wire goes to "A". How they got that way? Previous owner?
