Need to upgrade converter,a friend suggest a The Converter Shop - Performance Converters .he said that pats converters are no good, what do u guys suggest?

I just got a converter from TCS. I liked that they build them custom for your application. It is a very nice piece. I called and ordered on a Fri afternoon, the converter got here the next Mon. I haven't put many miles on it yet or been to the track with it yet (going this fri), but so far I like it alot.

I think you can't go wrong with any good quality converter. Pat's makes a very good converter for the money. There are a proven converter in the Buicks. For the same money as the Pat's have you thought about a PTC? After talking with Dusty I really liked what I heard. He was with it every step of the way. When we set mine up I was one of the first 10' l/u units. We originally set mine up at 3200 to se how it worked. The first trip to the track unveiled it would 60' great, but it lost it's charge up top telling us it was to loose. We restalled it back to a 2800 and that made a huge difference. Dusty now has these 10' units dialed in, and they perform as promised. Good luck to you with whatever you choose. ;)
