right now i got the poston non luckup 3500-3800 stall and now know that the lock up converters are the way to go, but which one ?? 9/11(cant find any web sites) the vigilante (expensive) and the orange stripe (cheaper but is it 2 cheap) any or anyone any any info thankx
also to my knowledge the tranny is stock but shifts great and seems to be fine, but for solid 11 sec track times will a more beefy tranny help for 1/4 mile times or just duability???

Call Bruce at PTS. It use to be called a 9/11 but out of respect for the new meaning of 9/11 he has changed the name to something else. Their is a link on the home page ,or better yet go to the transmission section on this board and see what they have to say. When I bought mine he stalled it to what I wanted, and said if I wasn't happy he would restall it. As a matter of fact he said "If you don't like the color send it back and we will repaint it "

The non lock converters are fine! I actually prefer the n/l converters. IMO its not worth the money to switch.
