Converting a 4.1 N/A Buick to Turbo car

I have been thinking about converting my 83 N/A Regal into an EFI intercooled turbocharged beast. I wanted to keep my 4.1 engine in the car since it only has 29K original miles. I want to know if I could also leave my 350 trans and 4.1 motor in the car. My idea was just to transfer to a efi intake, plenum, TB and harness of if a 86/87 turbo Buick. What will I need to complete this project. What do I use for harmonic balancer w/ crank sensor, flywheel, map sensors, fuel tank. Thanks! Gilbert

I need a check list on all items neccesary to complete project.

I just put all my stuff on a production 4.1 shortblock.Runs super.Everything bolts up just fine.Make sure you drill the 1/2 NPT turbo drain hole out though because I hear it is a pain to try to run a drain to the pan.

So did you use the Harmonic balancer and flexplate off the 3.8 motor?

Yes and the motor runs nice and smooth.Other than a little lope at idle.
