Converting an Art Carr Trans back to Lock-up: Can anyone forward some part numbers, instructions and pics? I've installed a fresh TCC solinoid but I'm pretty much in the dark on what else might be required.
All input is appreciated, thanks.

art carr drills taps and uses allen set screws to block the passage inside the pump to and to hold his non lock valve in place , so you have to pull the pump to even attempt to return to lockup
besides the tcc valve once the passage in the pump is restored and his non lock valve is removed you need to replace the original lockup spring and valve , and then you need to replace the oring on the input shaft ,
the check ball capsule was removed from the end of the input shaft for non lockup because nonlock wont work with it inplace .. but you dont need to replace it for lockup to work , it will just lock quicker with it out

if you go to his site you can download the install instructs

You can get a set screws from a hardware store and cut it to the correct length and loc-tite it in place in the pump housing and drill the orifice through it where the factory orificed cup plug was. Ive done it befroe with no problems
