I'm building an 87 motor for a customer to put in his 85 hotair car. I need info, advice, opinions etc.. from those of you that have swapped out the hotair motor for an 86-87 motor. Specifically, what's involved in swapping the wiring harness. I have an 87 wiring harness from a donor car, and have never done a harness swap...so this part of the TR's is all new to me. What do I need to do to get the old harness out and put the new in? TIA

The engine harness bolts in on the passenger side so it's pretty much a plug and play. It will be easier once the old engine is out, but you can take the inner fender out of the passenger side to do it if you have the engine still in the car.:)
