10" ptc 2800 l/u or a 9.5 vigilante single disk 3200 l/u which would work the best? Stock unopened long block, te 44 ,alky and a host of supporting mods fuel pump, afpr, big d/p drag radials etc. Currently running a restall d5..has just a little lag from a dead stop.:)

I have same exact mods as you do and i decided to go with the 10" ptc lu 2800 stall and absolutely love it. You will not be disappointed. I do have the precision housing on my 44, but still spools awsome. If you have a garrett housing the spoolup will be even quicker. Hope this helps with your decision.

Thanks for the reply"s ,Its alot of money to spend, I want to do it right the second time, HA HA, I have spent some cash on my d5 but I'am a little disappointed with it!

I have your setup with a stock D5.. I think the PTC 2800 -3000 is the way to go. Let us know how you like whatever one you get.

same setup here too, or at least similar. Just installed a new te-44 and with the stock d5 converter theres a little lag but not too much. but when that boost hits hold on lol.
