I keep thinking about leaving a camera at work and snapping a few pics from time to time on the lot and of the transporters, to put on a cd and stash away for my kids to find someday. By then, cd players may be hard to find though. How long can an SD card hold data reliably?

I have amassed a pretty neat pile of window stickers just by pulling a few out of the used cars that still have them in the glove box.

Very neat find!

That's back in the day when your new Ford, Chevy, Studebaker car was delivered by the same make truck.

The triple-piggyback GMC 950 diesel is a cool shot.

Those look like they came for "Hank's Truck Pictures" which has TONS of old truck photos. I could spend hours on that site checking out the old rigs.

Ha! I just seen this on jalopyjournal.com last week, same pics. Are you over there too Quicky One?
Cool stuff though.

Now...... That would be a great idea!!!

Seeing these pics remind me of seeing a car carrier parked in front of a local Buick dealership in Manchester CT back in 87 that was unloading ALL GN's!! I was saying to myself at the time that I wish I had a friggin camera, but I didn't. :frown: I know that that image will never leave my mind though! These are COOL pics though..........

that hauler must have weighed 80,000 pounds with all those cars. **** isn't made like that anymore, that's for sure. Cool cars. Those guys had no clue how cool they were lol.

Exaxtly what I was thinking.

The picture thread on the HAMB (jalopyjournal.com) is the coolest. One day I will go through it again and get on the right click button. But it's almost 500 pages.
