Coolant Temperature Sensor Location

I am going to add a coolant temperature gauge to my 1984 T-Type. Could anyone please tell me where the coolant temperature sensor is on a Hot Air car?

Thanks for the reply. It looks like I need to replace the coolant switch at the front of the intake with the sensor that came with the gauge. I know if I do this that the idiot light will not work. Am I correct in this thinking?

You are correct about the idiot light not working if you replace the sensor that is right below the thermostat outlet. I think someone told me though that you could hook both the gauge and the idiot light to your new sensor. I havent tried it, but I could see that it should work.
