Cooler opinions...

Have a 11x20x5, tube/fin, oil cooler. It has a fan on it.
A decision has to be made as to it's suitability w/o the fan. The available space, {under the dr side rear seat kick up}, is not deep enuf to keep the assy above the frame.
I am considering using it w/o the fan.
It will be in line w/ the cooler circuit on a 4L80E/LS, in my 86T.
Opinions plse, as to it being GTG, w/o the fan.
I looked at the space behind the rear axle...Too tight.
I also looked at a new Derale fin/plate unit w/ a fan. It is much smaller, 10x12x4, and could go behind the axle w/ some bracket work. Sell the big cooler and buy the smaller unit? Y/N??

Ft mt, Ac, and a big cooler = no space for the cooler.

I have the RJC-325 FMIC, A/C condenser & a 30K GVW Hayden trans cooler mounted up front. The trans cooler just fits between the FMIC & the A/C condenser.
