Put in my new Flex-a-lite dual 12" electric fans thinking this would help my running hot problem, but it didnt. it was in the low 90's today and the car got up to around 170-175 for 10 minutes then started a steady climb to 210 w/ a 160 thermostat w/ fans on entire time and this is on the highway @60mph.

My radiator is a single row aluminum one w/ plastic tanks that is about 2 years old, I flushed it out last year. Do I need a bigger radiator? If so what should I get that's not $600 I have a seperate tranny cooler so thats not an issue. I am open to any suggestions. AND this is on my new Chevy 350 crate motor, not a turbo 6cyl.

Overheating at speed is a cooing issue. Overheating at idle is an airflow issue. Sounds like you need more radiator. I'm assuming yours is an f-body aluminum. The best bet is to get your original one recored with a big-tube 3-row from Nick Micale.

it's not an f-body radiator, it's a auto parts store replacement for the original radiator for a 87 Chevy caprice. does Nick Micale just sell the radiator?
