Correct backspacing for 15x8's?

Hey guys,
I'm looking to buy some rims for the back of my T for the strip. I want to mount my Mickey Thompson 275/50's on them. Does anyone know what backspaing will work? I heard 4.5" will work but Iv'e also heard 3.5". Which is right?

On an 8" wide rim, I'd prefer 3.5" backspacing for the rear. That's what mine are.

Depends on how far you want to wheel to stick out from the car but the MOST bs you wanna have is around 4.75".

i run 15x8 with 3.5 bs on 275 mickey thompsons fit awesome
