anybody know the correct transmission filter part # for a 1987 buick GN atp brand i think one is # 64 the other is #54 don't need both one is bigger with about a 3" spout on it the other is smaller any advice would be helpful thanks or any part number including gm

I believe a Delco 8639951 should do it.

Why not look into a sump extension kit or possibly a deeper pan so you can fit a 700r4 filter?

Oil pickup from the sump is severely restricted when using a stock 200r4 filter.

Fast accelerating/aggressive driving can cause cavitation, aeration and loss of oil pressure.

Thanks man greatly appreciated

The deep pan is a nice upgrade but you can do the 700 filter using the stock pan . . . . shorten the oil transfer tube 1/4 inch on each end and insulate the 4th gear pressure switch .
